Nigerian singer, songwriter and alternative rap act Kayode returns with a fresh release titled “Bere Mole,” an energetic record that blends contemporary street-pop with the rich musical character of Yoruba Fuji.

Released on September 8, 2026, “Bere Mole” finds Kayode experimenting with a sound that connects modern trap-inspired production to traditional Nigerian influences. The result is a lively record built around a bouncy rhythm and Kayode’s distinctive delivery.

The song also draws inspiration from the Fuji tradition, with reports noting that it samples Adewale Ayuba’s “Ijo Fuji.” Kayode’s approach gives the familiar influence a contemporary treatment, allowing the record to sit comfortably between alternative rap, street-pop and Fuji.

“Bere Mole” follows Kayode’s earlier releases, including “Aimoye” and “Ise Oluwa,” as he continues to build momentum ahead of his forthcoming mixtape. The new single further shows his willingness to experiment with different elements of Nigerian music while maintaining the raw identity that has defined his growing catalogue.

With its infectious bounce, Fuji-inspired character and modern production, “Bere Mole” gives Kayode another opportunity to connect with listeners while showcasing a distinct side of his artistry.

Listen to “Bere Mole” by Kayode and enjoy the latest release from the Nigerian alternative rap and street-pop act.
