Nigerian singer and songwriter BNXN returns with a new six-track EP titled Still In Charge, bringing together Afrobeats and Afro-fusion influences across a concise project that highlights his melodic songwriting and distinctive vocal style.
Released on October 1, 2026, through T.Y.E. / EMPIRE, Still In Charge arrives with guest appearances from Asake and FOLA. The project follows a busy run of releases for BNXN in 2026, including “Eja Meja” featuring Asake and “Online.”
The EP opens with “Eja Meja”, BNXN’s collaboration with Asake, before moving through a mixture of solo records and another featured appearance. “Shamaya” brings FOLA into the project, creating another meeting point between BNXN’s established Afro-fusion sound and the newer wave of Nigerian melodic Afrobeats.
BNXN also uses the project to spotlight his solo songwriting. Tracks such as “16” and “Deliberate Work” take a more personal and reflective direction, touching on focus, consistency, ambition and the effort involved in maintaining his position in music.
The EP closes with “If You Like,” a more melodic record that brings the six-track project to an intimate finish. Together, the songs give Still In Charge a compact structure, balancing collaborations with records that keep BNXN at the centre of the project.
Still In Charge EP Tracklist
With its combination of established collaborations, reflective solo records and BNXN’s signature melodic delivery, Still In Charge adds another chapter to his 2026 catalogue while keeping the project focused and concise.
