Nigerian singer and songwriter Vicoka returns with a heartfelt new single titled “YOU,” a soulful Afro-fusion record that explores love, devotion and emotional connection.
Released on September 7, 2026, the song presents a softer side of Vicoka as he delivers an intimate performance centred on affection and unwavering commitment. His expressive vocals give the record a warm, personal quality, allowing the emotion behind the song to remain at the forefront.
Musically, “YOU” blends mellow Afro-fusion rhythms with subtle R&B influences, creating a smooth backdrop for Vicoka’s melodic delivery. Rather than relying on an overly crowded arrangement, the production leaves room for his vocals and songwriting to carry the record.
The release follows Vicoka’s earlier 2026 single “PEACE”, continuing a run of music that has helped establish his sound as he develops his catalogue. Apple Music lists “PEACE” among his 2026 releases alongside songs including “So Up,” “Lagos” and “victory!”
With its romantic theme, gentle groove and emotionally direct writing, “YOU” offers a different perspective on Vicoka’s artistry while maintaining the Afro-fusion identity that runs through his music.
Listen to “YOU” by Vicoka, add it to your playlist and enjoy the latest release from the emerging Nigerian singer.
