Young Jonn – Dear London (EP)

Nigerian singer, songwriter and record producer Young Jonn returns with a new seven-track EP titled Dear London, marking another chapter in the career of the Chocolate City Music artist and former hitmaking producer.

Released on September 25, 2026, the project arrives as Young Jonn’s latest body of work following his 2025 sophomore album, Blue Disco. The new EP continues his evolution from one of Nigeria’s most respected producers into a recording artist with an increasingly recognisable sound of his own.

Across Dear London, Young Jonn keeps the project entirely solo, allowing his melodies, songwriting and production sensibilities to carry the seven tracks without guest appearances. The project moves through themes including love, ambition, money, success and personal experiences, while maintaining the Afrobeats and Afropop foundation associated with his recent work.

The project opens with “Destiny,” followed by “By 4” and “Shege.” “Elumelu” then brings a money-focused theme into the project, while “Glass In The Air” adds another energetic moment before “Hold Somebody” returns to matters of love and companionship. The closing track, “Ws In The Chat,” rounds out the project on a celebratory note.

The title Dear London also reflects Young Jonn’s connection with the city and its place in the global growth of Afrobeats. The release comes at an important point in his career as he continues to take his music to international audiences while maintaining the Nigerian identity at the heart of his sound.

Since transitioning fully into the spotlight as an artist, Young Jonn has built on his production legacy with projects including Jiggy Forever and Blue Disco. Dear London extends that journey with a concise project that puts his own voice and musical direction at the centre.
