Victony – SLICK (Remix) ft. Don Toliver & Summer Walker: Nigerian Star Goes Global With International Collaboration

Nigerian Afrobeats singer Victony teams up with American rapper Don Toliver and R&B singer Summer Walker on “SLICK (Remix),” an international collaboration released on October 16, 2026. The remix gives a fresh dimension to Victony’s hit single, bringing together three artists with distinct musical styles.

The original version of “SLICK,” released in July 2026, quickly gained momentum, becoming one of Victony’s biggest solo releases. The song topped Nigeria’s Official Top 100 for three consecutive weeks and reached No. 2 on the Billboard US Afrobeats Songs chart, helping establish its appeal beyond the Nigerian music market.

On the remix, Victony retains the melodic Afrobeats foundation that helped the original connect with listeners, while Don Toliver introduces his atmospheric rap melodies. Summer Walker adds her soulful R&B vocals, creating a cross-genre combination that brings Nigerian pop together with contemporary American hip-hop and R&B.

The collaboration also reunites Victony and Don Toliver, who previously worked together on the remix of “Soweto.” Summer Walker’s inclusion adds another dimension to the record, expanding the song’s musical palette and introducing a different vocal texture to the familiar composition.

The release follows Victony’s sophomore album, STARLIFE, released in August 2026. With the original “SLICK” already enjoying strong chart performance, the remix offers an opportunity to extend the song’s reach and connect with an even wider international audience.

By bringing together Afrobeats, hip-hop and R&B, “SLICK (Remix)” represents another step in Victony’s expanding international journey. Stream and enjoy “SLICK (Remix)” by Victony featuring Don Toliver and Summer Walker on your favourite digital music platforms.
