IKEBE 3000
Nigerian rapper Blaqbonez teams up with Afrobeats star Asake on his latest single, “IKEBE 3000,” bringing their contrasting styles together for an energetic record built around rhythm, swagger and a playful party atmosphere.
Released on October 2, 2026, through Chocolate City Music, “IKEBE 3000” marks another collaboration between Blaqbonez and Asake after their earlier 2026 link-up, “Chanel.” The new single arrives as part of the rollout for Blaqbonez’s forthcoming project, NOMADINHO: 4TH PRIME.
Blaqbonez approaches the record with his characteristic rap delivery, but leans into a more playful and dance-oriented performance. His verses combine rhythmic flows, humour and street-inspired wordplay, giving the song a lively character from the opening moments.
Asake complements the rapper with his melodic and Yoruba-influenced delivery, adding vocal hooks that reinforce the song’s energetic direction. Their different approaches create a natural contrast, with Blaqbonez handling the rap-led sections while Asake brings the melodic presence that drives the chorus.
The production is built around punchy percussion, bouncing rhythms and repeated vocal phrases, giving “IKEBE 3000” a strong dance-floor feel. The arrangement leaves enough space for both artists to move between their respective styles without making the track feel overcrowded.
The collaboration also continues Blaqbonez’s current run of releases as he builds anticipation for NOMADINHO: 4TH PRIME. His reunion with Asake gives the campaign another high-profile moment while expanding on the chemistry established by “Chanel.”
With its infectious rhythm, playful writing and combination of rap and Afrobeats, “IKEBE 3000” presents Blaqbonez and Asake in a more carefree mode, delivering a record designed around movement, energy and street-pop appeal.
