Nigerian singer and songwriter BNXN rounds off his new project with “If You Like,” a melodic Afrobeats record that showcases his familiar blend of smooth vocals, rhythmic phrasing and emotionally driven songwriting.

Released on October 1, 2026, “If You Like” serves as the sixth and final track on BNXN’s six-track Still In Charge EP, released through T.Y.E. / EMPIRE. The song arrives alongside the full project, which also features collaborations with Asake on “Eja Meja” and FOLA on “Shamaya.”

The record explores themes of love, attraction and emotional honesty, with BNXN using his melodic delivery to express romantic feelings in a relaxed and accessible way. The song maintains the intimate quality that has become an important part of his Afro-fusion sound.

At 149 BPM, “If You Like” carries a relatively brisk rhythmic foundation while allowing BNXN’s vocals to remain the main focus. The production supports his effortless delivery, giving the song a polished contemporary Afrobeats feel.

The track also completes the musical journey of Still In Charge, following earlier releases from the project including “Eja Meja,” “Online,” “16,” “Deliberate Work” and “Shamaya.” “If You Like” therefore functions as the project’s final statement, bringing the six-track release to a close with a more romantic and melodic mood.

With its infectious rhythm, smooth vocal performance and romantic theme, “If You Like” adds another polished entry to BNXN’s 2026 catalogue while rounding off the Still In Charge era.
