Fireboy DML – ONE MAN REGIMENT: Nigerian Star Drops New Track From ZUKO! Album

Nigerian Afrobeats singer and songwriter Fireboy DML has released “ONE MAN REGIMENT,” a solo track featured on his fifth studio album, ZUKO!, released on October 16, 2026, through YBNL Nation and EMPIRE. The song is the seventh track on the 13-song project, which explores different musical influences while showcasing another phase of the singer’s artistic evolution.

“ONE MAN REGIMENT” centres on independence, resilience and self-belief. Its title evokes the image of someone prepared to stand firm and push forward without relying entirely on others. Fireboy uses the record to explore a confident outlook, bringing his melodic delivery to a song that fits the broader direction of ZUKO!.

The release follows the album’s earlier singles, including “CLAAT!” featuring Jamaican dancehall artist Masicka and “IMALI” featuring JAZZWRLD and Thukuthela. While those records introduced different sides of the project, “ONE MAN REGIMENT” gives listeners a solo performance from Fireboy within the album’s wider musical journey.

The ZUKO! album arrives two years after Adedamola, Fireboy’s 2024 studio album. Its title references Prince Zuko from Avatar: The Last Airbender, a character whose story explores identity, personal growth and redemption. The project brings together Afrobeats, dancehall and Southern African musical influences, with guest appearances from Judah Earl, Masicka, Lojay, JAZZWRLD and Thukuthela.

With “ONE MAN REGIMENT,” Fireboy DML adds another solo record to his catalogue while contributing to the wider story told across ZUKO!. The song offers fans another look at his evolving sound and the themes of confidence and perseverance running through the project.
