Ghanaian rapper Medikal joins forces with dancehall star Shatta Wale on “Sika,” a new collaboration released on October 2, 2026. Produced by Atown TSB and released through Ziiki Media, the song brings together two established names in Ghanaian music for a record centred on money, ambition and the pursuit of success.

The title, “Sika,” is an Akan word for money, setting the tone for a song built around financial aspirations and the desire to make progress. Medikal brings his rap delivery to the record, while Shatta Wale adds his recognisable dancehall style, giving the collaboration a blend of hip-hop and dancehall influences.

Atown TSB handles the production, bringing the two artists together on a sound that supports their contrasting vocal approaches. The producer has previously worked with Medikal and Shatta Wale on “Shoulder,” making “Sika” another link-up between the trio.

The release adds to the musical connection between Medikal and Shatta Wale, whose collaborations have brought rap and dancehall together on several occasions. Their latest effort keeps the focus on ambition and the rewards associated with working towards financial success.

With its money-focused theme and combination of rap and dancehall, “Sika” gives fans of both artists another joint record to add to their playlists. Stream and enjoy “Sika” by Medikal featuring Shatta Wale on your favourite digital music platforms.
