Nigerian singer, songwriter and producer Soundz has officially released his latest extended play titled “Becoming HIM,” a seven-track project that captures another stage in his evolution as an artist.
Known for his smooth Afropop sound, romantic songwriting and emotive delivery, Soundz uses the project to explore different sides of his artistry. “Becoming HIM” blends Afrobeats, R&B and contemporary African pop, creating a melodic sound that moves between intimate moments and more energetic records.
The EP features guest appearances from Fave, Iliana, Fimi, Kold AF and Demi Mulla, adding different vocal textures and perspectives to the project. Soundz remains at the centre of the project, with his production instincts and melodic sensibilities helping tie the collaborations together.
