Nigerian music powerhouse Chocolate City Music has officially unveiled its collaborative project titled “Chocolate City: NXXT,” a six-track EP bringing together an exciting selection of artists from the label’s wider creative ecosystem.
Designed as a collaborative showcase, “NXXT” brings different voices, styles and personalities together across a concise body of work. The project features appearances from Blaqbonez, Young Jonn, Candy Bleakz, TAR1Q, Major AJ and Noon Dave, among others, creating a diverse representation of contemporary Nigerian music.
Across its six tracks, the EP moves through Afrobeats, hip-hop, Afro-pop and alternative influences while giving each collaboration its own identity. Rather than focusing on one lead artist, “NXXT” celebrates creative chemistry, allowing established names and emerging talents to share the spotlight.
Songs including “Suddenly,” “Tonight,” “2 MAGARITA,” “Go Crazy II,” “Uloma” and “Aromatherapy” make up the project, with several artists appearing across multiple records.
With “NXXT,” Chocolate City continues its long-standing tradition of bringing Nigerian talent together while offering listeners a glimpse into the different sounds and artists contributing to the label’s next chapter.
