Nigerian singer and songwriter Llona has officially released his 2026 project titled “On The Road,” a 12-track body of work that offers another compelling look into his evolving artistry.

Known for his emotionally honest songwriting and distinctive vocal delivery, Llona uses “On The Road” to explore the experiences that come with navigating life, relationships and the pursuit of personal goals. The project blends Afrobeats, soul and contemporary Afro-fusion while keeping storytelling at the centre of its sound.

Across the project, Llona reflects on ambition, pressure, love, vulnerability, perseverance and self-discovery. Rather than approaching every record from the same perspective, the singer moves through different emotions, giving the project a personal and reflective character.

“On The Road” also features collaborations with Ghanaian star Black Sherif on “Cry,” Morrelo on “Different Pictures,” and American singer Fridayy on “Look At Me.” Each guest appearance introduces a different musical texture while complementing Llona’s introspective approach.

From “Monster Or Not” and “Anger Management” to “Pressure,” “Won’t Die” and the closing track “What Do I Do?”, the project captures different stages of Llona’s journey through carefully crafted melodies and expressive performances.

With its polished production, thoughtful songwriting and emotionally driven sound, “On The Road” further establishes Llona’s identity as one of the distinctive voices emerging from Nigeria’s contemporary music scene.
