Nigerian singer, songwriter and producer Soundz has released his latest project titled “Becoming HIM,” a seven-track EP that reflects his musical growth and evolving identity as an artist.
The project blends Afrobeats, Afropop and R&B influences, with Soundz leaning into smooth melodies, expressive vocals and polished contemporary production. Across the EP, he explores themes of faith, love, gratitude, desire and personal growth.
Soundz also brings several artists into the project, including Fimi, Fave, Kold AF and Iliana. Their contributions add different vocal textures while complementing Soundz’s melodic style.
The EP opens with “Hey GOD” and continues with “MINE,” “ML” featuring Fimi, “Ride On” featuring Fave and “Grateful.” The closing stretch includes “Blind” featuring Kold AF and “Tip Toe” featuring Iliana.
