Diamond Jimma – GOD IN CHARGE (EP)

Nigerian singer, songwriter and performer Diamond Jimma returns with a new five-track EP titled GOD IN CHARGE, a spiritually focused project that brings together faith, gratitude, personal affirmation and ambition across a compact body of work.

Released on September 24, 2026, the EP keeps Diamond Jimma at the centre of every record, with no featured artists across its five tracks. The project gives the singer room to explore its central message through his own vocals, songwriting and musical direction.

The project opens with “Mowa O,” a Yoruba phrase meaning “We Have Come,” setting a devotional tone from the beginning. The song introduces the spiritual foundation of the EP before the project moves into more personal expressions of faith and identity.

“Chosen One” follows with a message centred on divine purpose and personal affirmation, while “Big Star” shifts towards aspiration and confidence. Together, the middle tracks broaden the project beyond worship, connecting faith with the pursuit of growth and success.

The fourth track, “Esteri,” provides a softer and more intimate moment before the EP closes with “Wawo.” The five songs collectively give Diamond Jimma space to balance spiritual themes with his melodic approach and contemporary Nigerian sound.

GOD IN CHARGE also adds to Diamond Jimma’s active 2026 catalogue, following his earlier releases and projects as he continues to develop his sound. By keeping the entire EP free of guest appearances, the project remains firmly centred on his own voice and artistic perspective.
