Kidd Carder

Born Oluwatosin Samuel in 2002, Kidd Carder learned to sing in church choirs before finding his voice in the streets of Nigeria. For years, he worked quietly, trading weekend performances for studio sessions and learning how to shape Afrobeat and Afro-fusion sounds that move young crowds.

He began his musical journey singing in church, where he discovered his vocal talent and transitioned from rap to melodic singing. His early experiences shaped his unique sound, blending Afrobeat rhythms with emotive vocals and storytelling.

Kidd Carder’s music is a fusion of Afropop, R&B, and upbeat African rhythms. He gained widespread attention with his breakout track “Calculate”, which reached millions of streams and established him as a promising talent in the Nigerian music scene.
