Aguero Banks

Chukwu Francis Chukwubuikem, professionally known as Aguero Banks, was born on November 9, 1997, in Amabiriba Okpanku, Aninri Local Government Area of Enugu State, Nigeria. Raised in a musically inclined family, with his father being a local DJ, Aguero Banks was immersed in music from a young age. This early exposure fostered his passion for sound and rhythm, leading him to mimic performances he heard on mixtapes and local radio, and to begin writing rhymes while still in primary school.

He completed his primary and secondary education in Enugu before enrolling at Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu-Alike (AE-FUNAI) in Ebonyi State, where he pursued a degree in Sociology. During his university years, Aguero Banks gained recognition for his performances at campus events, notably organizing the annual “Chronicles of Banks” concert, which attracted large audiences. He graduated with distinction in 2020 and subsequently participated in the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program, serving in Benue State.
