Nigerian singer and songwriter Mr P returns with a new solo release titled “Chukwu Mee,” adding another record to his growing catalogue of music in 2026.
Released in late September 2026, “Chukwu Mee” sees Mr P handle the performance on his own, with the song built around a title drawn from the Igbo language. “Chukwu” refers to God, giving the record a clear spiritual reference from the outset.
The song finds Mr P taking a reflective approach, using his vocals to deliver a message connected to faith and personal expression. Rather than relying on a guest appearance, the record keeps the focus on his voice and the central idea expressed through its title.
“Chukwu Mee” arrives during an active period in Mr P’s solo career. The singer has continued releasing music following “I Can’t Look Away,” while also maintaining a strong presence across digital music platforms.
The new release adds another dimension to Mr P’s 2026 catalogue, allowing him to explore a more reflective direction while retaining the contemporary Nigerian sound associated with his solo work.
With its faith-oriented title and straightforward vocal presentation, “Chukwu Mee” offers listeners another side of Mr P as he continues to build his catalogue outside his years with P-Square.
