Nigerian street-pop star Portable returns with another energetic record titled “Shenk Balance.” The song continues the artist’s run of releases built around his distinctive street-oriented delivery and outspoken musical personality.
“Shenk Balance” sits within Portable’s current wave of music, as the Zeh Nation frontman continues to release records that blend Afrobeats, street-pop and indigenous Nigerian influences.
Known for his animated vocals and direct lyrical approach, Portable uses the track to maintain the raw, energetic character that has become closely associated with his music.
The release also comes at a busy period for the singer, who has continued expanding his catalogue with several songs throughout 2026. Recent releases include “O Wise,” “Not Madding,” “O Shock Mi” and “Oya Dab.”
With “Shenk Balance,” Portable once again leans into the street sound and personality that have helped establish him as one of Nigeria’s prominent contemporary street-pop acts. The record is aimed at listeners who enjoy his energetic delivery, catchy expressions and unconventional approach to music.
“Shenk Balance” is available across major digital music platforms.
