Nigerian indigenous rapper Oladips returns with a new single titled “BIG CELEB (Ogo),” turning a phrase that has featured heavily in his recent social media interactions into a full-length record.

Released on September 25, 2026, “BIG CELEB (Ogo)” follows Oladips’ recent two-track release, “We Are Cooked” and “Keep Showing Up,” as the rapper continues an active run of new music in 2026.

The record is produced by Slash P, with Oladips handling the performance and songwriting. The production provides a platform for his familiar Yoruba-led rap delivery, while the recurring “Ogo” idea gives the song a playful and immediately recognisable identity.

“BIG CELEB (Ogo)” also draws directly from the rapper’s recent online rollout. Before the official release, Oladips had been using “Ogo” as a recurring phrase while interacting with fellow artists, creators and personalities, building anticipation around the song ahead of its September 25 drop.

The release showcases another side of Oladips’ artistry, leaning into humour, street language and personality while maintaining the Yoruba lyricism and conversational rap style that have remained central to his music. Rather than presenting a heavily complicated concept, the song revolves around a phrase designed to be memorable and easy for listeners to carry beyond the record.

“BIG CELEB (Ogo)” arrives as Oladips continues building towards his forthcoming third studio album, following recent releases that have kept his catalogue active throughout 2026. His recent output has continued to balance personal storytelling with the wit and cultural references associated with his indigenous rap style.

With “BIG CELEB (Ogo),” Oladips turns an online catchphrase into another energetic addition to his catalogue, combining humour, Yoruba rap and a straightforward street-friendly concept.
