Nigerian singer and songwriter Barry Jhay teams up with producer and artist ZiiBeats on his latest single, “Pami,” a smooth Afrobeats record that gives the singer room to showcase his melodic delivery and Yoruba-inflected style.

Released on September 25, 2026, “Pami” arrives as a standalone collaboration, following Barry Jhay’s 17-track album Barrystar, Vol. 2, which was released earlier in the year. The new record sees him return to a more concise single format while bringing ZiiBeats into the creative mix.

The song carries a relaxed, rhythm-led feel, with Barry Jhay keeping his vocals at the centre of the arrangement. His delivery moves between melody and conversational phrasing, giving the record an intimate character while maintaining the rhythmic quality associated with his Afro-Fuji-influenced sound.

ZiiBeats adds another dimension to the collaboration, helping shape the musical backdrop around Barry Jhay’s performance. The track is listed as an Afrobeats release and runs at 125 BPM, giving it a steady tempo suited to contemporary Nigerian playlists.

“Pami” also continues Barry Jhay’s active 2026 run following the release of Barrystar, Vol. 2. Rather than extending the album with another project, the singer uses the new single to introduce a fresh collaboration and keep his catalogue moving.

With its melodic approach, smooth groove and Barry Jhay’s distinctive vocal character, “Pami” offers a fresh collaboration between two Nigerian acts while maintaining the sound and cultural identity that have remained central to Barry Jhay’s music.
