Nigerian Afro-fusion singer and songwriter oSHAMO returns with a new single titled “For Your Tears,” joining forces with soulful vocalist Shiloh Yodellé for an emotionally driven collaboration that explores vulnerability and the more reflective side of love.

Released on September 25, 2026, through emPawa Africa, “For Your Tears” marks oSHAMO’s second official release of 2026, following his earlier single “Shina Rampe.” The new record also continues the creative connection between oSHAMO and Shiloh Yodellé, who have previously worked together.

Musically, the song takes a softer approach, built around warm acoustic textures, vulnerable melodies and expressive vocals rather than a heavily percussion-driven arrangement. oSHAMO brings his distinctive Afro-fusion delivery to the record, while Shiloh Yodellé adds a soulful vocal presence that complements the emotional direction of the song.

The collaboration allows both artists to focus on emotional expression, giving “For Your Tears” an intimate quality. Their contrasting vocal styles work together naturally, with the restrained production leaving enough space for the melody and lyrics to remain at the centre of the record.

The single arrives during an active period for oSHAMO, who has also appeared on “OGA” alongside Shoday on Pheelz and Rii’s A Rii Set project. His growing catalogue continues to show his ability to move between the energetic Fuji-inspired elements of his sound and more melodic Afro-fusion records.

“For Your Tears” also made an immediate appearance on Nigerian music charts, reaching No. 7 on Xclusiveloaded’s Global Top 100 chart updated on September 26, 2026.

With its acoustic warmth, soulful vocals and vulnerable songwriting, “For Your Tears” presents another side of oSHAMO while giving Shiloh Yodellé a strong role in shaping the song’s emotional character.
