Nigerian rapper and songwriter Kellylivinglarge teams up with singer Khaid on a new collaboration titled “Come Back Home,” bringing together rap-driven delivery and melodic street-pop for a record centred on longing, reconciliation and the desire to reconnect.

Released on September 25, 2026, “Come Back Home” is a 2:35 single released through Living Large Music. The collaboration gives Kellylivinglarge the opportunity to lead with his lyrical approach, while Khaid contributes his melodic vocals to create a contrast between the two performances.

At the heart of the song is the idea of someone wanting an important person to return. Kellylivinglarge handles the more direct lyrical passages, while Khaid brings a softer vocal quality that reinforces the emotional side of the record. The two approaches give the song its central balance.

Rather than crowding the production with too many elements, “Come Back Home” leaves room for both artists to occupy their respective spaces. The result sits between contemporary Nigerian hip-hop, Afrofusion and street-pop, with the melodic sections providing a natural counterpoint to Kellylivinglarge’s rap delivery.

The collaboration also introduces Kellylivinglarge’s Living Large Music identity to a wider audience through a pairing with Khaid, whose melodic street-pop sound has made him a recognisable voice in Nigeria’s current music scene.

“Come Back Home” has already begun attracting attention on Nigerian music charts, appearing at No. 5 on Xclusiveloaded’s September 26, 2026 trending songs chart.

With its concise runtime, contrasting vocal styles and theme of returning to someone or somewhere that matters, “Come Back Home” gives Kellylivinglarge and Khaid a natural meeting point between hip-hop and melodic Nigerian street music.
