Nigerian Afropop star Mr Eazi teams up with Ghanaian-American singer MOLIY on his latest single, “Comfort,” bringing together two artists connected by Ghana’s influence on contemporary African pop music.

Released on October 2, 2026, through emPawa Africa, “Comfort” is a concise collaboration that pairs Mr Eazi’s laid-back vocal style with MOLIY’s bright and expressive delivery. The song runs for approximately 2 minutes and 26 seconds.

Produced by Nigerian hitmaker Ragee, the record combines a bouncy rhythmic foundation with bubbly bass and melodic elements, drawing from Afrobeats, dancehall, hip-hop and R&B. The production gives both artists room to trade catchy lines without losing the relaxed quality associated with Mr Eazi’s sound.

At the centre of “Comfort” is attraction, affection and the feeling of finding ease in another person’s presence. Mr Eazi approaches the subject with his familiar conversational delivery, while MOLIY adds another vocal perspective that gives the collaboration a natural back-and-forth.

The song also brings together two generations of Ghana-connected Afropop. Although Mr Eazi was born in Nigeria, his musical career developed significantly during his time in Ghana, where the sound that became known as Banku Music began taking shape. MOLIY, meanwhile, represents a newer generation of Ghanaian artists making an increasingly visible impact beyond the country.

“Comfort” follows a busy 2026 for Mr Eazi, including his collaborative album See What We’ve Done with King Promise and subsequent singles with Dre Skull. The new release keeps that run going while introducing a fresh collaboration with one of Ghana’s emerging voices.

With its breezy rhythm, smooth vocal performances and blend of Nigerian and Ghanaian influences, “Comfort” gives Mr Eazi and MOLIY a natural meeting point between established Banku Music and contemporary Afro-fusion.
